Trend Bible show you how to see into the future of your business.
“How to capitalise on future trends”
Tuesday
15th October: 53-57 Blandford Square Newcastle, 12.30hrs – 1.30hrs
As part of the Northern Design Festival, future forecasting pro Joanna
Feeley of Trend Bible will host a free one hour talk aimed at helping smaller
companies learn how to predict change and understand consumer demands.
Joanna has over 15-years’ trend forecasting experience working with brands
across a range of sectors including New Look, Nokia and Tesco. Joanna has gathered
all of her expert industry knowledge, tips and tricks, which will be exclusively
revealed at this unmissable event.
Here we chat to Joanna to gain a little insight into her talk...
Joanna said: “In our talk we have tried to target people who wouldn’t
necessarily have the funds available to invest in expensive trend forecasting
services. We are always keen to give smaller companies access to the knowledge,
essential skills and tools we use for large corporations. The audience are
expected to mostly come from a design industry or background, but it’ll also
cater to those who aren’t. The world is constantly changing, and we hope to
provide insight into what the future looks like”.
With highly successful offices in the UK and New York, the Trend Bible
team understand the complex demands of the ever-changing consumer. “It’s useful
to discuss the market from a broader view; we are still coming out of a
recession, and consumer habits reflect that. The talk will take a practical look at what you can do to identify the
climate in your industry, and help you decide whether your company should
follow a trend or stay put for the time being".
“We also aim to explain how influence spreads, and help business owners
recognise where their customer base ‘fits’ in the market- whether they are
trend influencers, early adopters, or a much broader mass market consumer who is
heavily influenced elsewhere”.
And what can you expect to take away from this jam-packed trend session?
“Attendees will understand how we forecast for large corporate retailers
and learn how to apply these skills within their own industry or sector. They
will have an understanding of the key concerns for consumers predicted for the
next 12-months; their behaviour, shifts in the market and potential influences
elsewhere".
“They will also be provided with useful links to websites where they can
utilise their new found trend forecasting knowledge to their business’
advantage”.
Thank You Joanna.
